Marshall Economic Development, together with the citizens, leaders, and staff of the City of Marshall are committed to making this community a great place to spend a day, a week, a lifetime AND a great place to do business!

Marshall is a historic community with a proud history and a bright future. It is a Michigan Main Street Community and is strategically situated at the U.S. Interstate Highways 94 & 69 interchange allowing for easy access to the major markets of the Midwest. This vibrant little city serves as the county seat and boasts a bustling, quaint, and picturesque downtown district where you will find gift shops, superb restaurants, fine antique shops, and specialty shops. Along the sidewalks are dozens of historic markers including plaques for more than ten Michigan Centennial Businesses.
With its historic charm, authentic main street and small town closeness, it might be easy to forget the industrial base that exists in Marshall. However, leaving it out tells only part of the story of Marshall. The Brooks Industrial and Research Park was built to add a new element to an industrial base that already includes companies like Tenneco, Progressive Dynamics and Joseph A. Campbell. The Brooks Industrial and Research Park is a blend of nature and streetscape used to create an environment that is truly unique. The Brooks comes complete with sidewalks, streetlights, and natural landscaping. Bordering The Brooks is the Brooks Nature Area, a 200-acre nature preserve. Marshall Economic Development, coupled with the citizens, leaders and staff of the City of Marshall are committed to making this community a great place to spend a day, a week, a lifetime AND a great place to do business!  Please contact us for more information!
